Friday, April 27, 2007 - F.O.Blues :

i m being a bit slow in compiling the chps of the S Prigrimage we had in Japan n Taiwan so i thot i wld do an update abt the overall F.O. activities of *PSU.

The F.O activities mainly comprised of the GP prep,GL prep,F.O. camp, sentosa outing,FOWA n RDC. Let's start out wif the GP prep.

GP prep camp : **** stars

Overall,i woke up late so took my time to go down for GP prep. Most of us cooks had to take on GP roles for this prep as there weren't enuf seniors to train the juniors. Helped out wif the station games which turned out to b a Daidee session as a less experienced senior GP(coughcoughpastyrGLcoughcough) was holding up the grps too long. The blur medic came over to play a few rounds b4 being fooled tt sumone was injured n ran off.

Dinner was quite alrite. Nx came their campsong singing "exam" where the GPIC was testing the GPs on their campsongs. We had nth to do so we sat ard to observe. After a while Wai Kit helped out by taking those hu failed aside to teach them the song they failed etc. jus nice when i went to sit wif him a female GP had failed "The Cannibal King" song n was sent over to him.
(Sidenote: "the cannibal king" is a camp song which requires 2 ppl doing actions. The last verse requires both to do a fake kissing action wif each person starting to their left so no lips or bodys meet)

WK:"so which song u failed"

GP:"Cannibal King"

WK:"aiyoh,these 2 oso dunno tt song...but nd 2 ppl lehz...so hu's ur partner???"

(GP pts at me)(i was like wtf...)

Me:"ok la...y i cook le still must do this..."

(song reaches last verse...she makes the mistake of going right while i went to my left...i reacted by jumping backwds)

WK:"wah...wan kiss cook ah???bribe cook issit??? GPIC~how u teach ur GP one?wan to bribe the cooks issit???Wan more food ahz???"

the abv is an incident ppl tried to use to blackmail me wif but i alreadi told my gem so is no use de so LOL

Freshido followed up which was quite ok. The "potion" turned out a bit bad due to last min stuff becoz no one bought the ingredients.Din slp the nite as we spent time toking to the Pte Ltd abt stuff n our VP.After their PT n breakfast was the telematch. Took my usual station of the singing of a little green frog...enjoyed seeing them blow flour out as they sang tt song XD Left slightly after lunch to send a GP home. Tt concludes GP prep for me.

GL prep : Unknown stars

Why unknown??? it's not tt i dunno how to rate it but i can't rate it...GL prep's 1st 2 days occured when i was still in Taiwan. I popped over to Sembawang on the final nite since it was near home. jus stood ard n toked wif them b4 heading over to The Woodgrove for prata. Got lost along the way becoz someone gave the wrong directions. went home n prepared for F.O. camp the nx dae

F.O. Camp : ***1/2 stars

Strangely enuf, the camp felt awfully fast this yr.Got there after lunchn got to c them sing some songs b4 being sent off for freshido XD. But one thing to note was tt alot of restrictions were put on this yr due to external influence. Candlelight fight was a bit boring as all the GPs jus chiong in...the fun of tt game is let them die a slow painful death XD Nx day was the station games n treasure hunt. Station games went on quite well.Treasure hunt was a bit delayed due to sum problems brought out by 2 senior GPs. During FOWA a junior told us tt basically a guy senior GP got angri over sum weird reason n caused all the trouble...this trouble even continued to the nx day where sum sturbornness caused the GPIC to get injured in a game which was going to b cancelled.

Camp fire was a bit small n sian...Disco Night got changed into Pub Night wif ppl jus sitting there listening instead of moving abt...took our usual bench on asking for feedback but din realli see mani ppl walking by though...most stayed n sat in the cookhse. Ended up playing Risk wif ah gong,WCMK n Des. Another funny thing abt my luck recently after the amazing Ogre Magi Multicast in Taiwan(to be discussed in the Hol post),i had 1 soldier left in alaska n ah gong wanted to att me. I could hv retreated but i thot for fun defend it la...so in the end my 1 soldier fought off ah gong's 6 attackers. They were going like "wah lau...ur soldier eat viagra one ahz...so strong". F.O. camp ended a bit wrong wif the freshies running off home directly after break camp. As usual the P's decisions n actions thruout the whole camp pissed mani ppl off, especially his choice of the CC. ended up waiting till 4 for lunch wif the Pte Ltd,a few GPs n a few GLs.

Sentosa Outing: *** stars

The outing was quite ok but it rained...another bad part was tt most seniors weren't informed of it so the turnout wasn't tt gd...Various other reasons such as splitting n puo puo ma ma-ing made me kinda dulan since the start of the day...But the day wasn't a total lost...got to watch TMNT at vivo XD Ended the day by hving food at Lau Pa Sat b4 heading home for some rest.

FOWA : ** stars

It was kinda on its way to failure since the prep. Went down to sch to play the 360 at Moberly n stopped by to take a look. They had less than 15 helpers not counting the camp comm.Miscommunications here n there oso made relations worst for the helpers n the comm. A couple of games weren't preped n they missed out one thing impt esp for their batch. A Wisemen prep or tok...the GPs this yr realli had some probs on being a GL/wiseman.When i saw the attitude a Wiseman was giving during Operation Dover Tactics,i got dulan...dunno wad they teaching ppl nowadays...how nice is it for a "Godpa" to show this kinda attitude to others in front of his grp???Seriously ah...this camp was so sian we jus went back to play mahjong everytime we had nth to do. It got so sian tt i left wif my mei jus b4 the nitewalk...realli damn sianz ah this camp.

RDC : no comment stars

Went down to this camp onli on the 2nd nite not feeling tt well le...left ard 1 am becoz ppl nowadays realli dun respect the seniors...nd help but nv ask...den anyhow COMMAND us summore...in the end we went off to the SG's hse to slack. Met the foxsg at amk the nx day to help him get his psp b4 heading home to get more rest.

Seriously speaking,if u ask the current yr 3s,my batch or even the senior batches abt wad they think of union now, they will most probably tell u union isn't wad it used to be le...ever since this P came into power, things jus hv nv been the same...the Union of our time is gone. There is not much pt in going back anymore.
